Line Supernatural 100
Embrace Your Funky Side.
Skis Supernaturel 100 172 par LINE.
Ever tried to explain to a non-skier why you love skiing? It's pretty easy to steer into weird psuedo-spiritualism, which'll probably just get you the kind of patronizing expression usually reserved for Uncle Jim when he talks about the benefits of his magnetically ionized socks at Christmas dinner. You might as well save your breath, stop evangelizing, and daydream about the Line Supernatural 100 Ski instead.
The Supernatural's not a pure pow ski, and it's not a super-jibby park ski, and it's not a one-trick frontside ripper, and that's more than OK because it makes its money in real-life variable conditions or as a do-it-all mountain conqueror. At 100mm underfoot, it falls somewhere between hardpack charger and directional crud-buster, and it uses Line's famous 5-Cut five-dimensional sidecut to serve up virtually unlimited turn shapes, so you can shimmy through trees, blast over crud, and punch it down big, open lines. The Maple Macroblock core combines two rugged maple stringers with quick and poppy aspen, keeping the Supernatural stable at speed, quick in tight spots, and poppy when you're feeling playful.
Line was on the forefront of the rocker revolution, and was so successful that the Supernatural's Early Rise tip and tail are pretty commonplace these days. The rockered Thin Tip lets you float through pow and cruise over crud without flapping, diving, or sending you over the bars, and the raised tail lets you slash pow turns, dump speed, and ride switch like a boss (although the Supernatural's a fairly directional ski that prefers to ride facing downhill). Elastomer sidewalls finish off the Super's tough Shockwall sandwich construction, and burly 2mm steel edges bite into hardpack and handle the occasional rocky encounter without cracking and leaving you sad, edgeless, and alone.
