The Atomic Backland Expert CL is a touring boot built with Prolite construction, Frictionless Pivot, and a Carbon-loaded shell. The durable Boa® Fit System ensures a precise fit that can be effortlessly adjusted on the go. It’s the most cost-effective way to experience the Backland innovations, with minimal sacrifice. This boot ranks high on comfort with a softer liner construction and Flex 90 stiffness rating. The Carbon-loaded shell material makes the lower shell stiffer and pairs with the Energy Backbone to drive power to the skis on the downhill. Free / Lock 4.0 system fixes the cuff firmly in place as you switch modes from walk to ski. Smartly designed ski boots make ski touring that much more fun.
COMPATIBILITY
Backland boots are only compatible with TLT-style touring bindings that use traditional pins at both the toe and the heel. Backland boots are not compatible with hybrid touring bindings, such as Shift MNC 10 & 13.
