Ski Shape: STUDIO PROGRESSIVE TWIN - The slightly skinnier tail and wider tip lead to superior downhill performance vs a symmetrical twin. Tip & tail height are identical, however, for optimal switch skiing. The generous rocker and modest camber lead to a wonderfully playful character, while the moderate taper and Elliptical Sidecut provide precise handling and carving.

Core: Lightweight Poplar Wood Core
Laminates: Full Carbon Weave – Between 8 and 12 strips of carbon, sandwiching either side of the ski’s woodcore, are laid unidirectionally, providing extra stability to the ski, without adding weight to the build. Each carbon strip is woven into the fiberglass to provide strength and stiffness in the full length of the ski.
Carbon Rubber Stomp Pad – A 600mm-long, 15mm-wide carbon/rubber reinforcement underfoot, for extra absorption on those huge hits.
Sidecut: Elliptical Sidecut – Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail of the ski.
Sidewalls: Full Strength Sidewall – A construction that places strips of protective material along the sides of each core, between the edge and the topsheet.
Anti-Chip Micro Cap - protects the tips and tails from wear and tear
Base: Sintered UHMW Base
Edges: XL 2.5mm Edges – Fractions of a milimeter might not sound like much, but when it comes to edges, it adds up. The 2.5mm edges add an extra 25% of height to Faction's standard 2mm edge, making for a stronger and more durable ski.
