Toe: Carbon-Infused Polyamide Toe Lever and Wings – Lightweight and robust for better durability and energy transfer.
Power Block AFD (Anti-Friction Device) – Continuously adjustable without steps, and incorporating a new aluminum power block that delivers an impressive 30% increase in lateral power transfer.
Dual Mode Toe – Easily converts from ski to tour mode and back
Heel: Locking Brakes – Sturdier, more reliable brake lever construction that improves locking and avoids disengagement.
Tour Mode: Hike and Ride Switch – Lever at toe shifts between hike and ski mode.
Dual Height Climbing Aid – Tall option is now 4mm higher.
Boot Compatibility: Multi Norm Certified (MN) – Compatible with all adult boot sole types, including ISO 5355 Alpine, ISO 9523 Touring, WTR (Walk to Ride) and GripWalk.
Tech Toe Fittings Required For Use In Uphill (Touring) Mode
Requires Boot with Full Heel and Toe Lugs – Not compatible with boots like the Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour and TLT, Atomic Backland, Salomon X-Alp and Arc'teryx Procline, among others. These boots have shortened or non-existent lugs and will not fit into the Shift in downhill mode.
Additional Features: Low Profile Chassis – A low stand height improves your feel for the terrain and enhances power transmission to the ski.
Oversized Platform – A super-wide platform allows for maximum lateral power transmission, especially for wider skis.
+Elastic Travel – Ultimate elastic travel to hold in boots during impact in order to go bigger with no risk of pre-release.
Compatible with Salomon Shift Crampons – Available widths - 100mm and 120mm
