The Ultralight Butterfly Split is the ultimate choice for high alpine expeditions and technical backcountry touring. Designed to strike the perfect balance between weight and performance, this ultralight splitboard is specifically crafted for demanding alpine pursuits.
With its innovative design, the Butterfly Split features reduced tip and tail size while extending the contact points, resulting in an effective edge equivalent to a board 10 cm longer. Its true camber profile delivers exceptional edge power in variable alpine conditions. To enhance float, agility, and torsional board lock, the Butterfly Split incorporates 15 mm of taper, a 3D Contour Base 3.0, Inner/Outer Traction Tech 3.0, Boltless Bridge, Karakoram Tip Lock Tip Clips, and Karakoram 3C Clips.
Built with the new Ultralight construction, the Butterfly Split utilizes eco-friendly materials such as an eco-topsheet and a carbon-infused wood core with multiple sections of Koroyd for reduced weight and improved chatter absorption. This groundbreaking splitboard allows pioneering riders to unlock game-changing new lines in remote terrain.
Note: The Butterfly is designed to be ridden 4-6 cm shorter than your standard freeride board.

Profile: True Camber
A traditional full camber profile that offers the insane edge response of camber without the usual hang-ups. The camber radius tapers into the beveled 3D Contour Base at the tips which releases the edges where they like to hook and balances the pop and directional stability of camber with a looser, less-catchy feel.
