The Atomic Backland Race pack is purpose-built by Davide Magnini to get through the toughest Skimo races.
The pack is extremely stable with an obsessive focus on fit, even when fully loaded with race gear and skis. Constructed similar to a running vest, the Backland UL Race is equipped to comfortably hold all your mandatory gear on race day and is hydration system compatible. The diagonal Secure Speed Ski Carry uses a purpose-made hook so you can attach and retrieve your skis without removing the pack. The Backland Race pack comes with a tow rope and a zip pocket for personal ID and required race documents. An ice axe carry and an easily accessible compartment for your avalanche safety gear are all incorporated in an ergonomic design. The dedicated crampon and skin compartment is easily accessible without removing the pack, saving time and effort in transition. The Backland Race pack is everything you need in a lightweight, stable pack for fast ascents and hard efforts.
