LE SKIS S/LAB QST ECHO 2026
Lightweight. Dependable. Performance.
Designed to handle the most demanding backcountry terrain, the Salomon S/LAB QST Echo Skis strike the perfect balance between lightweight construction and confident performance. Developed with Cody Townsend and inspired by the challenges of The Fifty Project, this ski proves that you don't need excess weight to tackle serious lines. Built around a responsive Karuba and Poplar wood core and reinforced with a lightweight basalt and fiberglass laminate, the Echo delivers stability, strength, and dampening without compromise. Salomon’s Double Sidewall technology ensures solid edge hold on variable snow, while the Freeride Rocker profile adds versatility for deep days and technical descents alike.
Details
Rocker Type: Freeride Rocker Profile – 25% Tip Rocker / Camber / 17% Tail Rocker
Core: Karuba / Poplar Full Woodcore – A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations. Karuba is one of the lightest woods available for ski construction.
Laminates: Basalt Superlight Fibers, Cork Damplifier – Cork is 16 times more absorptive than Koroyd. Using it in the tip and/or tail of the ski enables a high level of vibration absorption and dampening while decreasing weight.
Sidewalls: Double Sidewalls Technology – A high density injected piece of ABS underfoot combined with full length sidewalls creates a strong platform underfoot to maximize grip on hard snow.
