Product Details

Baseplate Shadow Fit Baseplate with Kevlar Quickwire: a flexible heel cup paired with a Kevlar fiber transmission wire that moves naturally with the boot, delivering direct board feel without pressure points. Built from 30% Fiberglass Nylon Composite, a mid-weight construction that is lighter and softer than the 45% version on higher-tier ShadowFit models. Includes Toolfree Adjustable Toe Ramp, Universal Disc (4x4 and 2x4 compatible), IMS mounting system, Power Hook heel retention, and Unite Disc compatibility for Burton Channel boards.
Highback District Highback: asymmetrical freestyle highback with a 12° Pre-rotated Shape that aligns the cuff with the natural angle of the ankle and calf, reducing pressure points while improving power transmission. Shared with the District Pro. Mid-to-soft flex tuned for park and street maneuverability.
Ankle Strap Asym Shadow Strap: injected asymmetrical ankle strap shaped to follow the contour of the boot. Softer and more forgiving than the Shadow Lite Strap found on higher models, providing comfort and a playful feel over direct energy transfer. MicroMax micro-adjustment for fine lateral positioning without tools. Toolfree adjustment.
Toe Strap Supreme Lite Toe Strap: lightweight toe strap for secure hold without added bulk. Toolfree adjustment for quick on-mountain changes.
Padding Full EVA Front and Rear Pads: full-coverage EVA foam padding front and rear for all-day shock absorption and underfoot comfort. Canted Footbed angles the knees inward to mirror natural stance and reduce joint strain.

District Snowboard Bindings - Icy Pink 2027 FAQ

What does binding flex change on snow?

The District has a soft flex, positioned between soft and medium closer to the soft end. On the District, that softness lets you butter and press features without locking you in, so park and groomer riding feels playful and forgiving. You stay in control even if your technique isn't locked in yet.

What is the highback for?

The highback transfers calf pressure to the heel edge to initiate turns. On the District, an asymmetrical design with 12 degrees of pre-rotation aligns your foot naturally for freestyle riding. That angle means your heel edge response is direct and intuitive, no fighting the geometry.

What does the baseplate material change?

The District uses a baseplate made of 30 percent fiberglass nylon composite. On the District, this mid-level composite strikes a balance between flex and responsiveness, giving you snappy edge control without the rigidity of heavier setups. You get reliable performance in varying conditions without feeling locked down.

What does canting do?

The District includes a canted footbed with a 2 to 3 degree inward slope, mirroring your natural leg angle in a wide stance. On the District, that slope reduces knee fatigue significantly on long days, so you stay fresh and comfortable whether you're sessioning the park or cruising groomers all morning.

Where does the toe strap go?

The toe strap hooks over the nose of the boot, pulling your foot back into the heel cup, not flat over the top. On the District, the Supreme Lite toe strap is designed lightweight, and the asymmetrical strap geometry follows the natural curve of your foot so it doesn't slip and circulation stays clear even on long sessions.
