The Kleveland Winter Jacket sets Volcom's baggy fit loose over a waterproof V-Science 2-Layer shell rated at 15,000mm/15,000gm² breathability, built to shrug off wet mountain days. Fully taped seams and a Zip Tech jacket-to-pant interface lock out snow, while a removable hood, goggle clips and mesh-lined zippered vents let riders dial in coverage and airflow on the fly. A solid daily driver for all-mountain laps.

How waterproof is the Kleveland compared to other Volcom jackets?
It's rated 15,000mm waterproof and 15,000gm² breathability, higher than Volcom's more common 10,000mm jackets like the Buckthreeeighty. Combined with fully taped seams and a V-Science Breathable Lining System, that puts the Kleveland closer to a serious all-mountain shell built for wetter, heavier snow conditions.
Does the shell fabric differ between colorways?
Yes. The Black and Sky colorways use V-Science Recycled Double Dobby with PFAS-free DWR, while the Cheetah colorway uses V-Science Recycled Plain Weave with the same DWR treatment. Both carry the same 15,000mm/15,000gm² rating, so waterproof performance stays consistent even though the weave differs.
Can I take the hood off if I don't want it?
The Kleveland has a Removable Hood, so you can detach it entirely for a cleaner look or lighter feel on days you don't need the extra coverage, then reattach it when the hidden toggle cinch and peripheral hood adjustment are useful for wind and snow protection.
Will snow get up my sleeves while riding?
The Kleveland includes Lycra Hand Gaiters built into the cuffs, an extra stretch layer that seals around your wrist under your glove to block snow from working up your sleeve during falls or deep powder, on top of the standard Adjustable Cinch Cuff.
Is this jacket compatible with goggles and a matching pant?
Yes. It has Goggle Clips to secure your goggles when they're off your face, and a Zip Tech Jacket to Pant Interface that connects directly to a compatible Volcom pant, sealing the waist gap so snow and cold air can't get between the two layers.
