Jib Snow Pants - Off White FAQ
Who is this pant designed for?
These are built for park riders who want a loose, playful fit. The Jib Gurl cut is ThirtyTwo's roomiest fit: narrower through the waist but generous in the thighs and straight leg. On the Jib Snow Pants, that oversized silhouette is perfect if you're doing tricks, sliding, or just want that relaxed park vibe. It's a specific signature cut, not a generic loose pant.
What makes this pant durable, and how long will it last?
The core is a 4-way stretch fused 2-layer fabric with 10,000 MM waterproofing. The seams are triple-stitched at the crotch and inseam where stress is highest, zippers are water-resistant coil type, and the boot gaiter has a reinforced gathered cuff. On the Jib Snow Pants, that robust construction at the wear zones means it can handle aggressive park sessions and frequent flexing. You get solid longevity for a lightweight shell.
How do I know if I have the right size?
The Jib Gurl fit runs narrower at the waist than regular fits but ballooned in the hips and thighs. Check your waist against the size chart: XS is 26 inches, S is 28, M is 30, all the way to XXL at 36. The hip measurement will be 18-20 inches wider than your waist. On the Jib Snow Pants, if you're between sizes and like a roomy fit, go up one; if you want it snug, size down or stay true.
What's the 10K waterproofing and breathability, and why do those numbers matter?
10,000 MM waterproofing means the fabric resists water pressure until it gets pretty serious; 10,000 G/M2 breathability means it sheds moisture vapor so you don't sweat through the shell. On the Jib Snow Pants, those balanced specs make them all-day park workers: you stay dry from outside splashes and your sweat finds its way out via the mesh-lined crotch venting. Not overly protective like a backcountry shell, but reliable for park conditions.
When does this pant excel?
These are engineered for park riding in temperate to moderate snow. The mesh-lined crotch vent and brushed tricot pocket lining regulate temperature, and the stretch boot gaiter keeps snow out without binding. On the Jib Snow Pants, you'll love them in a busy park day with some warming, light riding. In deep backcountry or extreme cold, the non-insulated shell and moderate waterproofing ratings are better suited to layering than solo use.
