Heli 2.0 Pro 20L Backpack - Rosin FAQ
Does this pack have avalanche rescue features?
The Heli 2.0 Pro 20L includes RECCO technology, a passive reflector that helps professional rescuers using RECCO detectors find you faster in an avalanche or if lost in the backcountry. It's built alongside a dedicated snow tools/shovel pocket with sleeves, so your shovel and probe stay organized next to that safety layer.
Can this pack carry a helmet separately from my other gear?
Yes, it has a removable helmet carry with its own stash pocket located on the lumbar panel. You can stow the helmet net when not needed or remove it entirely, keeping it independent from the main compartment that handles skis, splitboard, and snow tools.
Will this pack carry my snowboard or splitboard depending on the day?
It offers vertical snowboard deployable carry with a horizontal carry option, plus diagonal or A-frame ski/splitboard deployable carry, so you can switch systems based on terrain and hike style. That flexibility makes the 20L usable for both resort laps and backcountry missions.
How tough is this pack for daily abuse?
The shell is 100% recycled 600D polyester diamond ripstop combined with 100% recycled 600D coated polyester, a heavy-denier build chosen to resist abrasion from chairlifts, rocks, and repeated loading. That's the same fabric spec used across the Heli 2.0 Pro line for season-long durability.
Will my hydration bladder freeze on cold days?
The main compartment is two-way radio handset or insulated hydration compatible, meaning it's built to accept an insulated bladder sleeve that slows freezing in cold temps. Combined with the large fleece-lined goggle pocket, it's set up for full-day cold-weather use.
