Compatible with the Removable Airbag System 3.0 (sold separately), it pairs a roll-top main compartment with vertical snowboard and diagonal or A-frame ski/splitboard carry. A fleece-lined goggle pocket, dedicated shovel sleeve, and snow-shedding molded backpanel round out a pack made for riders heading past the ropes.

RAS stands for Removable Airbag System. The Poacher RAS 26L accepts the Removable Airbag System 3.0 by Mammut (sold separately), with a roll-top closure that seals around the unit. An airbag improves your odds of staying near the surface in a slide, but it doesn't replace a transceiver, shovel, and probe.
Can I still carry my snowboard, skis, or ice axe with the airbag system installed?
Yes, the 26L keeps vertical snowboard carry with a horizontal option, diagonal or A-frame ski/splitboard carry, and dedicated splitboard poles and ice axe carry loops alongside the airbag compatibility. A large-volume zippered top pocket and back panel zippered main access keep the rest of your gear organized around it.
How do I access the main compartment without disturbing the airbag system?
The Poacher RAS 26L opens through back panel zippered main access, letting you reach your gear without touching the airbag compartment or its roll-top closure. A deployable helmet carry in a dual position adds external storage without opening the main body at all.
