Directional camber underfoot delivers the grip and power needed on steep descents, while nose rocker floats effortlessly through deep snow. An Ultra Split Core and Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer keep the ride lively on the way down without adding dead weight on the way up.

Solution Women's Splitboard 2027 FAQ
Is the Women's Solution too advanced for intermediate women splitboarders?
The Women's Solution is rated Mid-Stiff (4/5) and positioned as the ultimate women's split for all-terrain backcountry freeriding. The stiff-leaning flex rewards commitment on steep terrain, deep snow, and variable conditions. Intermediate splitboarders still building their backcountry skills would be better matched with the more forgiving Women's Stratos Split at medium (3/5) flex before stepping up to the Solution.
Will this board float in deep powder?
Yes. The directional tapered shape (14 mm taper on the 146 and 149 cm sizes) lets the tail sink naturally while the wide nose floats high. The High 3D Contour Base provides a 7 mm spoon bevel on the nose, and the Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer adds pop for launching off powder lips and variable terrain features. The Dir. Camber / Rocker profile further lifts the nose and tail for added clearance in deep snow.
What clip system does the Women's Solution use?
The Women's Solution uses Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0: lighter, with a tighter clamp and smaller footprint than the original 1.0. Any splitboard binding compatible with Karakoram pucks mounts for ride mode. The Boltless Bridge strengthens the clip zone by thickening the woodcore under the clips, providing better torsional stiffness and a more solid clip-to-board connection over the board's life.
Does this board come with skins and are they pre-trimmed?
Each size of the Women's Solution comes with a pre-cut skin (code A for all four sizes, trim S or M depending on length). The skins are shaped to the board so no trimming is required. The High Traction Tech serrations along the base also improve grip on low-angle terrain during transitions, where managing a splitboard in skis mode requires solid footing.
How does the Women's Solution compare to the Men's Solution?
The Women's Solution uses a Sintered 8000 Base, while the Men's Solution uses the higher-performance Sintered 9900 with carbon additives for superior glide. Both use Triax Fiberglass and Bcomp Carbon Flax Stringer. The Women's version covers sizes 146 to 155 cm with women's boot sizing. The construction and riding character are closely matched; the base material is the primary technical difference.
Are there Wide sizes available for women with larger boot sizes?
No. The Women's Solution comes in four sizes (146 to 155 cm) with waist widths from 23.7 to 24.3 cm, all below the Big Horn threshold of 26.3 cm. These are designed for women's US boot 5 through 10. Riders needing a wider waist would need to look at a different splitboard model, as no Wide versions exist in this lineup.
