What's the construction and why does it matter?
The core blends lightweight premium hardwoods (70% poplar, 30% paulownia) for edge-hold and response. Underneath, a flexible carbon plus flax stringer adds snap without adding weight, and a biaxial fiberglass wrap keeps torsion controlled. The sintered base is ultra-fast and highly wax absorbent, so you'll glide farther on climbs and descents with fewer touch-ups.
Why is it so short but still floats so well?
High volume and a swallowtail shape pack float into a 152cm package. The rocker nose and raised tail lift you on soft snow, and the 3D contour base adds surface area. You get the nimbleness of a short board with the buoyancy of a much larger one—perfect for tight trees and powder chutes.
