Who is the Aviator 2.0 actually built for?
The Aviator 2.0 is a precision all-mountain board for expert riders who push speed, carve hard on groomers, and want maximum pop for big airs anywhere on the mountain. The 4/5 med-stiff flex, full camber profile, and directional twin shape all demand commitment and reward aggressive, technical riding. Advanced intermediates can ride it, but they will have to work harder to flex the board.
Can I ride the Aviator 2.0 switch?
Yes. The Aviator 2.0 is a directional twin with zero taper, so nose and tail share the same shape and the stance reference is centered. The High Camber profile maintains consistent edge engagement in both directions. If riding switch matters as much as riding regular, the Aviator is built for it with no compromise to either direction.
Will the 4/5 flex feel manageable at resort speeds or is it too demanding?
At 4/5 (med-stiff), the Aviator is responsive and energetic rather than dead-stiff. The Boost Core (Bamboo + Paulownia + Poplar) keeps the board lightweight, and Koroyd dampening absorbs vibration so it does not feel harsh on choppy snow. At slower speeds the board needs more input to flex, so it rewards riders who like to push pace and drive turns rather than cruise.
