THE QUILL
Surf-Inspired Backcountry Descent
The Quill is a splitboard built for the descent. Designed for deep powder days, it offers a surf-inspired ride with effortless float and control across variable terrain. A wide outline and tapered shape create smooth, intuitive turns, while its lightweight construction keeps it efficient on the ascent. Finished with our premium black sintered base, the Quill delivers uncompromised performance for those venturing deep into the backcountry.
Personality
The Quill feels at home in the backcountry: balanced, confident, and fluid through deep snow. It’s made for riders who prioritize the ride down but still value the efficiency to reach distant lines. Wide, stable, and composed at speed, it inspires flow through open fields, trees, and technical descents alike.

The details
The Quill Split features our FLOAT CAMBER, which curves into a rocker shape in the nose, giving you the lift you need in deep powder and stability under-foot on the uphill. To further enhance the performance and durability of this backcountry shape we upgraded the Quill with our new snow-repellent brushed topsheet. The new nose holes secure our Z-Hook skin mounting system and the nose notch prevents hang ups in the skin track. For an easy and quick setup we suggest using our pre-cut custom skins!

Sizing
This chart shows the range in what each size can handle. It is never our intention to categorize riders and their preferences. Our philosophy of snowboarding is to try new shapes, lengths, widths, and to keep an open mind for alternative riding experiences; however, we do have some limits to consider so that your board will work as it was designed to.
Your weight plays a major role in how the board will flex, and your shoe size will affect toe and heel drag when turning. The below size chart is for reference only, as our recommendations may vary depending on your stance and riding ability.
