The S/LAB Shift Alpha BOA® delivers power, precision and a fully customized fit. The Freespine ensures direct energy transfer between cuff and shell, while the Exobelt and BOA® Fit System offer micro-adjustable foothold that keeps you locked in. Engineered for increased downhill performance, this ski boot integrates a Powerplate for enhanced forward flex and a PEBAX cuff to deliver lightweight responsiveness on every turn.

    Fit: Last: 98 mm – Narrow last for slim to normal width feet with normal volume. Can be heat molded using the custom heat molding process to approximately 104mm in the forefoot.

    Flex: 140 – A very stiff flex suitable for expert level skiers.

    Shell: Custom Shell HD – Salomon's proven heat molding process makes boot fitting most feet quick and easy - the latest Custom Shell HD version is even quicker to mold than before. The thinner wall construction and new shell materials allow the foot to be closer to the shell and provide enhanced sensations, more power and direction energy transmission.

    Powerplate: The Powerplate reinforces the lower shell overlap with an extra-stiff plastic insert, boosting forward flex for stronger, more powerful transmission.

    Exobelt: The strong textile/plastic fastener and BOA® Fit System brings remarkable heel hold and prevents blisters during ascents, while ensuring precision and power during descents.

    Polyurethane: A material with consistent density that ensures perfect wrapping, reliable progressivity and good power transmission.

    Liner: Shift CF Lab - This alpine liner, co-developed with the Mountain Collective athletes, features a 4D Talyn® construction for enhanced foothold, precision, and an elastic toe box for added comfort.

    Cuff : Pebax - Top-quality polyamide plastic which provides adapted rigidity, lightness and downhill performance

    Core-Frame Construction – A thinner walled Sensitive Shell is reinforced by the Core-Frame element that runs under the midfoot from maleolus to maleolus and stiffens the shell where you drive the ski with a minimum of added weight. Delivers precise terrain feedback and maximum power transmission to the edges.

    Stance: Riveted Oversized Pivot – The Riveted Oversized Pivot ensures perfect power transmission between cuff and shell.

    Ski/Walk Mode: Surelock Ski Walk Mechanism – Bomber and low profile walk lever is positioned at the same level as the upper buckle to promote quicker transitions.

    Buckles: 2 Screwed Aluminum Cuff Buckles – With hiking hooks

    Boa: 1 screwed BOA® Fit System - The BOA® Fit System H+1 delivers micro-adjustable, precision fit engineered to perform in the toughest conditions. It also offers superior heel hold and edge-to-edge control.

    Strap: Screwed energyzer claw 50mm: Race inspired, this strap is designed to ensure maximum power transmission. It offers a claw system for strong lower leg hold and an elastic section for rebound and progressiveness.

    Sole: GripWalk ISO 23223 Outsoles – This boot is premounted with alpine soles but compatible with Gripwalk ones. It’s really easy to switch between the soles, providing a great deal of convenience.

    Full rubber sole Gripwalk: High-performance and durable full rubber sole designed for alpine ski boots. Provide reliable grip, precise control on snow and hard surfaces. This rubber sole is compatible with the bindings Gripwalk and MNC.

    Integrated Tech Inserts – Low-tech inserts are integrated into the shell, making it complementary to touring bindings, so you can experience reliability and direct power transmission when skinning up.
