Product Description
The Wonder is Salomon's all-terrain board built to take women riders everywhere on the mountain. Its directional twin shape and Rock Out Camber hybrid profile blend groomer edge hold with off-piste forgiveness, while Ghost Basalt tip-to-tail stringers add pop and absorb trail chatter. A medium flex keeps the ride accessible without sacrificing response. For women who want one board that handles it all.
Product Details
| Rocker Type | Rock Out Camber: traditional camber between the feet delivers pop and edge hold on hardpack, with early rocker at tip and tail for float and catch-free forgiveness off-piste |
| Shape | Directional Twin: twin-tip geometry with a slight directional flex bias, rides best nose-forward but handles switch comfortably |
| Core | Aspen: lightweight Aspen wood core for a lively, responsive feel · Popster: dual-density insert reinforcement integrated into the core for increased pop and durability at the binding zones |
| Stringers | Ghost Basalt Stringers: basalt fiber stringers running tip-to-tail for added pop and vibration damping with a natural flex feel |
| Laminates | BIAX MD Fiberglass: biaxial medium-density fiberglass with fibers at 45° for torsional flex and edge-to-edge responsiveness, lighter and more forgiving than the HD version · 30% Bio-based Resin: epoxy system incorporating 30% plant-based content, reducing reliance on petroleum-based chemicals |
| Sidewalls | ABS Sidewalls: standard Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene construction, durable and impact-resistant · Royal Rubber Pads: rubber pads positioned underfoot to dampen vibrations, protect against sidewall blowouts, and improve binding interface feel |
| Base | Sintered Base: high-molecular-weight polyethylene, more porous than extruded for better wax absorption, faster glide, and increased durability; Standard Stone Finish |
| Edges | Freestyle Edge Bevels: bevel angles optimized for park and all-terrain riding, slightly more detuned than All Mountain for forgiving landings and rail presses |
| Binding Compatibility | 4x2 insert pattern, compatible with all standard bindings |

Wonder - Women Snowboard 2027 FAQ
Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?
The Wonder is designed for women who want to explore all types of terrain without being locked into one style. On the Wonder, the medium flex and directional twin shape make it accessible for riders building skills, yet responsive enough for intermediates. It's playful without being unpredictable, and stable enough to hold through variable snow and speed.
Should I get a twin or a directional board?
The Wonder has a directional twin shape: the nose is wider and lifts earlier than the tail. On the Wonder, you get the playfulness of a twin for tricks and switch riding, but the directional geometry keeps the board efficient going downhill and helps it float in powder so you stay planted without fighting the board.
What's the difference between camber and rocker?
The Wonder uses Rock Out Camber, a traditional curved profile that slightly lifts at the tip and tail. On the Wonder, this gives you responsive edge grip and natural pop for tricks. It doesn't forgive sloppy technique as much as a rocker would, but it rewards precise carving with energy and responsiveness.
How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?
The Wonder has a medium flex, sitting right in the middle of the soft-to-responsive spectrum. On the Wonder, that balance lets you absorb bumps and ride playfully at moderate speeds without the board washing out. It's firm enough to hold an edge through choppy snow, yet forgiving enough that your carves don't need to be perfect.
What makes a base fast — extruded vs. sintered?
The Wonder has a sintered base, which is made by fusing fine particles under heat, creating a porous structure. On the Wonder, sintered bases are faster because they absorb wax deeper and hold a sharper edge longer. You'll need to maintain it more often, but you get premium glide and responsiveness that keeps up with carving and speed.
