Product Description

Years of freestyle team feedback distilled into one board. The Abstract pairs a perfectly symmetrical True Twin with Rock Out Camber (traditional camber underfoot, early rocker at tip and tail) for a ride that locks into every lip and launches off every kicker with equal confidence. Ghost Carbon Beams in tip and tail build explosive pop; the Quadralizer sidecut snaps from quick center turns to stable high-speed arcs. Built for riders who treat the whole mountain as their canvas, in or out of the park.

Product Details

Rocker Type Rock Out Camber: traditional camber between the feet delivers pop and edge hold, paired with early rocker at tip and tail for float and forgiveness off the park.
Shape True Twin: perfectly symmetrical tip and tail, identical flex in both directions, engineered to ride equally well regular or switch.
Sidecut Quadralizer: four distinct radii combined for versatility across terrain, with a tighter radius in the center for quick turns and wider radii at the tips for stability at speed.
Core Aspen: lightweight and lively wood species with natural pop characteristics · Popster: dual-density insert reinforcement system with denser material at the insert zones for added pop and durability, integrated into the core.
Stringers Ghost Carbon Beams: carbon fiber beams running through tip and tail, reducing swing weight and adding longitudinal stiffness for explosive pop.
Fiberglass TRIAX HD Fiberglass: triaxial high-density fiberglass with fibers running at three angles (0°, +45°, -45°) for increased torsional stiffness and stability at speed.
Resin 30% Bio-based Resin: epoxy system incorporating 30% plant-sourced content, reducing reliance on petroleum-based chemicals.
Sidewalls Royal Rubber Rails: rubber sidewall rails running along the edges for improved dampening and edge durability · ABS Sidewalls: durable acrylonitrile butadiene styrene capping.
Base Sintered Base with Fine Stone Finish: high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with premium stone-ground texture for better wax absorption and faster glide, tuned with Freestyle Edge Bevels for forgiving park landings and rail presses.
Binding Compatibility 4x2 insert pattern (4 rows of 2 inserts), compatible with all standard bindings.
Additional Features FSC Certified Wood Core · Natural Wax factory finish · Set Back: 0 mm (true twin centered stance).

Abstract Snowboard 2027 FAQ

Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?

The Abstract is built around a lightweight aspen core with dual-density popster reinforcement. On the Abstract, that combination keeps the board lively and responsive. The medium flex and true twin shape make it ideal for intermediate and advanced riders who want to progress in the park but also ride the whole mountain. It's forgiving enough to handle learning tricks, but responsive enough for faster riding and carving.

Should I get a twin or a directional board?

The Abstract is a true twin, so the nose and tail are identical and there's no setback. On the Abstract, that means you can ride it backwards, switch your stance, or huck tricks off either end without any difference in performance. The symmetry pairs with the Quadralizer sidecut to give you precise edge hold and maneuverability whether you're pointing left or right.

What's the difference between camber and rocker?

The Abstract uses Rock Out Camber, which means the board is arched upward in the middle. On the Abstract, that arch gives you excellent grip when carving and explosive pop for tricks and jumps. Camber also forgives sloppy edge angles, so you can make mistakes and still lock your turns. It's all about energy and control, not forgiveness.

How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?

The Abstract has a medium flex, which sits right in the middle of the range. On the Abstract, that balance means the board is forgiving when you're learning tricks or buttering on flat ground, but stiff enough to hold a line at speed and track straight through choppy snow. You get playfulness and quick response without losing edge control.

What do carbon stringers or carbon additives do for the ride?

The Abstract has carbon fiber beams running through the tip and tail sections. On the Abstract, that carbon gives you explosive pop without extra weight, so tricks feel snappier and more responsive. The board rebounds faster from impacts, and you get instant energy return when you stomp a jump or snap an ollie.
