Womens Blaster Aw Fase Snowboard Bindings - Black 2027 FAQ
What does binding flex change on snow?
At 3/10, the Blaster AW FASE is soft and forgiving. This flex rating means the binding absorbs impacts well and resists over-twisting during tricks and landings. On the Women's Blaster, you get a responsive feel that doesn't fight you in the park or on variable terrain, making it ideal for learning and playful riding.
What is the highback for?
The highback transfers calf pressure to your heel edge to start turns. On the Women's Blaster, the articulating cuff flexes forward 45 degrees independently, letting your calf stay engaged without locking your ankle. This design gives you faster heel-side response while keeping the ride smooth when you're flexing into turns.
What does forward lean actually do?
Forward lean tilts the highback closer to your shin, increasing knee bend and making heel-side turns snappier and more direct. On the Women's Blaster, you can adjust this forward lean to match your riding style and boot setup. More lean speeds up your edge response, but find the sweet spot so your legs don't fatigue on long days.
What does canting do?
Canting is a 2 to 3 degree inward slope built into the footbed, matching the natural angle of your legs in a wide stance. On the Women's Blaster, this canted footbed reduces knee fatigue on long days by aligning your legs more naturally, so you stay comfortable and in control throughout the day.
Where does the toe strap go?
The toe strap hooks over the nose of the boot and pulls your foot back into the heel cup. On the Women's Blaster, the lock-in toe strap stays tight and secure without rattling or needing adjustment mid-run. Correct placement keeps your foot locked in place and prevents circulation issues from the strap being too loose.
