Agent Snowboard 2027 FAQ

Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?

The Agent is built as a true twin for park and freestyle riders. It's designed around a stiff-to-medium flex that rewards committed technique and smooth landings. Intermediate and advanced park riders, or anyone who switches and wants a reliable pop in sloppy terrain, will feel at home here. Beginners building pop technique might find it demanding.

Should I get a twin or a directional board?

The Agent is a true twin: identical nose and tail, centered stance. That means you ride switch with zero compromise, press the tail like the nose, and stay balanced whether you're going forward or backward. If park play and switch tricks are your priority, the twin design lets you approach features from any angle without worrying about board orientation.

What's the difference between camber and rocker?

The Agent uses Fusion Camber: camber (crown) underfoot for snap and edge grip, rocker (curve) in the nose and tail for easier popoffs and more forgiveness on landings. This blend keeps you energized on rails and kickers while the rockers soften the impact zone, so you're not absorbing every compression on your lower back.

How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?

At flex 8 on the Playful to Precise scale, the Agent sits quite stiff. That rigidity locks you in during rotations and landings, responding immediately to your weight shifts without deflecting. You get predictable turn edges and snappy pop, but you'll feel every feature underfoot, so smooth technique matters more than on a softer board.

What makes a base fast, and what's the difference between sintered and extruded?

The Agent rides a sintered base: porous, high-speed, and thirsty for wax. Sintered bases bite into wax more effectively than extruded ones, so they glide faster when tuned but need more care between sessions. The durability tradeoff: sintered holds edges longer but can delaminate if you abuse it in rocks or undercarriage impacts.
