A glass-nylon composite baseplate delivers precise board control, the AsymFlite Highback offers playful mid-soft flex, and PU foam cushioning keeps your feet comfortable across the entire mountain. What is the highback for?
The AsymFlite Highback uses an asymmetric spine with a softer internal side. On the Nebula Fase Tweaker, this design delivers support through heel-edge turns when you need it while keeping the binding playful and forgiving during freestyle tricks. The asymmetric construction lets you slash and tweak without the highback fighting your movements.
What does the baseplate material change?
The D-Fuse XR Baseplate is made from a glass-nylon composite with a plush PU foam pad underneath for shock absorption. On the Nebula Fase Tweaker, this combination delivers quick response and precise board control while the foam cradle maintains natural board feel under your feet. You stay connected to the snow even on choppy terrain or rough landings.
What does canting do?
The ImpactPulse Footbed includes a built-in 3-degree inward cant, mirroring your natural leg stance. On the Nebula Fase Tweaker, this angle reduces knee fatigue over a full day of riding and gives you a more stable, comfortable stance from the moment you strap in. Can I use this binding with any board and boots?
The Nebula Fase Tweaker uses a universal mounting disk compatible with 4x4 inserts, 2x4, and EST/Channel systems. On the Nebula Fase Tweaker, this means you can bolt it to almost any modern board you own. The only exception: if your board only supports Burton's proprietary Channel system, you'll need Channel-specific bindings. Size it carefully against your boot measurements using the provided size chart.
