Product Details

Rocker Type CamRock: balanced rocker at tip and tail with camber between the bindings. Delivers grip on hardpack, natural pop off the snow, and easy float in powder — Jones's signature all-mountain profile for versatility across every terrain.
Flex 3 / 5 — Happy medium: mid-range flex that stays forgiving for developing riders while offering enough snap to progress into more demanding terrain.
Shape Directional Twin: symmetrical tip and tail with a centered stance, allowing confident riding in both directions while maintaining a natural forward bias.
Core Master Core: dual-density Paulownia and Poplar blend (1:1 ratio). Paulownia keeps weight down while Poplar adds pop and lasting durability throughout the board's life.
Laminates Biax Fiberglass: biaxial fiberglass laminate with a mid-soft torsional flex — forgiving underfoot for developing riders while providing quick, snappy energy transfer.
Base Shape Low 3D Contour Base: 2 mm spoon bevel at nose and tail, inspired by surfboard hull geometry, progressively increasing from the contact points to reduce drag and improve float. Low Traction Tech: serrations along the running length add multiple edge contact points, compensating for rocker drift and maintaining reliable grip through turns.
Sidewalls Recycled ABS: 100% recycled ABS sidewalls with a rounded finish to reduce chipping.
Edges Recycled Edges: German recycled steel edges for maximum durability, standard on all Jones boards since 2010.
Topsheet Premium Topsheet: durable, scratch-resistant topsheet engineered for rigorous daily use in all conditions.

Twin Sister Junior Snowboard 2027 FAQ

Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?

The Twin Sister Junior is built for youth riders who are starting to explore beyond beginner basics. It's a directional twin with a medium flex and rocker at the nose and tail, so it rewards growing riders from first carves through all-mountain exploration without punishing mistakes. Intermediate and advancing juniors will find the most fun here.

Should I get a twin or a directional board?

This one's a directional twin, which means the nose is slightly softer and wider than the tail for easier float in powder and switch-ish riding, but the board is aimed downhill. You get some switch versatility while the shape still drives you forward and holds an edge on hardpack. Perfect if you want one quiver board that can do everything on the mountain.

What's the difference between camber and rocker, and which one is this?

This board uses CamRock: rocker at the nose and tail for easier turn initiation and powder float, with traditional camber underfoot between the bindings. That arch gives you snap and energy for tricks without feeling locked in. You get the best of both worlds on varied terrain.

How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?

At 3 out of 5, the Twin Sister Junior is a happy medium: it's soft enough to be forgiving on rough snow and off-axis landings, but has enough pop to respond to your movements and hold a line when you carve. Growing riders love this feel because it's playful at lower speeds but doesn't wash out when you open up.

Is this board good for powder?

The nose pops up earlier than the tail thanks to rocker and a wide tip with spoon bevel base shaping, letting you stay centered and float on top instead of submarining. With an 8 out of 10 powder rating, it handles fresh snow well. You can explore deep days without dragging your back foot to death.
