Product Description
The Navigator Split turns CAPiTA's beloved powder destroyer into a factory-direct backcountry tool that earns every descent. The 3D Ascend 2 Split Core™ keeps the chassis light for long skin tracks while the Technora™ Flax Boosters deliver the torsional power needed to carve out high-speed turns on the way down. A tapered tail sinks deep in powder, parabolic sidecut coaxes smooth arcs, and the Resort V2 camber underfoot keeps precision on firm morning snow. Ready for anything beyond the ropes, skins and hardware included.
Product Details
| Rocker Type | Resort V2 Directional with Flat Kick Tech: raised camber platform through the inserts for carving control and solid edge hold, elevated contact points, and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs for a smooth, surfy ride on the descent |
| Flex | 6 / 10 |
| Shape | Directional, 0.8" set back. Tapered tail (Radical Taper geometry: narrower tail sinks in powder while the wider nose floats) |
| Core | 3D Ascend 2 Split Core™: premium weight-graded Poplar aligned with Paulownia and an ABS centerline. Pressure-bonded dual-species wood core strips retain the primary poppiness of Poplar while reducing weight for efficient ascents |
| Laminates | HolySheet™ Tri/Tri Fiberglass: triaxial weave on both top and bottom for maximum strength, durability, and performance in demanding backcountry conditions · Magic Bean™ Resin: 60% bio-content plant-based resin system requiring lower process temperatures, resulting in a lighter, more durable board |
| Additives | 2 x 30 mm Technora™ Flax Boosters: aramid fiber (Technora™) interwoven with all-natural flax, delivering excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance. Functions as both a shock absorber and energy source for maximum turning power and ollie pop |
| Topsheet | Digital Print with Metallic Underlay |
| Base | HyperDrive™: custom formulated proprietary sintered base with exceptional anti-friction properties from high molecular mass and specialized processing aids. Die-cut base with digital print graphic |
| Sidecut | Parabolic with Radical Taper: mirror-symmetrical deep sidecut for quicker, more intuitive turn initiation, combined with tapered tail geometry for natural powder float and surfy feel |
| Included Hardware | Union Expedition Skins by Montana™: climbing skins included factory direct · Union Pro Clips and Hooks: splitboard hardware for reliable, secure connection between halves |

Navigator Split Splitboard 2027 FAQ
C'est une board pour quel niveau ?
The Navigator Split targets advanced riders hunting powder and backcountry terrain. Flex rating of 6 out of 10 is moderate-firm, giving you solid control on the ascent and responsive edge hold on the descent. Beginners would struggle; experts will appreciate the precision it delivers on variable snow.
Is this board good for powder?
Absolutely. The directional shape with 0.8 inches of setback and a tapered tail keep the nose floating in deep snow. The parabolic sidecut and longer effective edge (1182-1238 mm depending on size) mean you carve clean arcs in powder without sinking, and the reverse camber in the nose maximizes float when you need it most.
What's included, and do I need to buy binding skins separately?
It ships factory-direct with Union Expedition Skins by Montana and Union Pro Clips and Hooks, so you're ready to climb right away. No need to buy skins separately, which saves you 200-300 dollars and ensures everything is dialed from day one.
What do carbon stringers or carbon additives do for the ride?
This board uses two 30 mm Technora Flax Boosters, blending synthetic aramid fiber with natural flax. The combination absorbs vibrations on rough ascents while delivering energy and pop for carving turns on the descent. Flax flexes naturally, so you get amorti without losing responsiveness.
What's the difference between a sintered base and an extruded one?
The Navigator uses HyperDrive, a proprietary sintered base engineered for anti-friction and speed. Sintered bases hold wax better and track faster on varied snow, making them ideal for long backcountry descents. The tradeoff is regular waxing, but for a pow board, that's worth it.
