Is this board really designed for women, or is it just a men's board in smaller sizes?
It's built with women-specific sizing from the ground up (143–151 cm). The shaping — directional with a parabolic sidecut and tapered tail — is identical to the standard Navigator, but proportioned and weighted for female riders. On the Navigator Womens, that means the weight ranges are tuned to your typical riding range, not undersized men's specs, so the flex and response curve feel right at your weight.
Why does this feel so good in powder?
It's built around a lightweight paulownia and poplar core reinforced with aramid and flax fiber strands that absorb impact and return energy. The nose is rockered and wider, the tail tapers narrower. On the Navigator Womens, that shape floats the front above deep snow while the tapered tail sinks slightly, letting you stay centred and relaxed instead of fighting to stay up on top.
How flexible is this board, and is it easy to ride?
