Product Description

Compact, fast and endlessly versatile, the Kazu Kokubo Pro is built for riders who attack the whole mountain like it's a playground. Its powder-ready nose and tapered tail cut through soft snow in the morning, then carve resort lines in the afternoon without missing a beat. Panda Hover Core keeps the board feather-light while CarbonFlax Amplifiers charge every ollie with snap. The HyperDrive ADV XT base with Moonshot Omni-Tune is built for speed from the factory. For riders chasing Kazu's legend one line at a time.

Kazu Kokubo Pro Snowboard 2027 FAQ

What's the difference between this and the Kazu Pro Wide?

Same construction, same expert specs, different chassis width. Standard width is 25.1 to 25.7 cm across sizes; Wide adds approximately 0.4 inches. On the Kazu Kokubo Pro, if your boot size fits standard (typically US size 10 to 10.5), you get full edge contact and responsive flex. Wide is specifically for larger feet to avoid toe hang and leverage loss.

Why does this board work so well in pow and aggressive terrain?

The core uses paulownia, poplar, and bamboo power rods. The nose rocks up and widens, the tail tapers aggressively (up to 10 mm in larger sizes). Carbon and flax fiber layers add energy and damping. On the Kazu Kokubo Pro, that aggressive nose-tail shaping keeps you floating in deep snow while the tapered tail digs in, locking you over your back foot so you can carve and accelerate.

Is this a good intermediate stepping stone to bigger terrain?

No. This board is for experts only. You need solid carving, fast edge control, and comfort at speed on variable snow. On the Kazu Kokubo Pro, this is a big-mountain freestyle board. Intermediate riders should start on something more forgiving before tackling this level of precision and power.

How does the 0.8 inch setback change how you ride?

Setback moves your stance further back over the wider, rockered nose. The tail tapers narrower and sinks more easily. On the Kazu Kokubo Pro, that directional-twin shaping rewards a forward-facing stance in deep snow and off-camber terrain. You get float and maneuverability without sacrificing the pop and response of a nearly-twin profile.
