Product Description

The D.O.A. Wide is the iconic all-mountain twin in a wider stance, built for riders who need extra room without sacrificing an ounce of the original's famed response. A P2 Superlight Core pairs with Hybrid HolySheet Bi/Bi Carbon — biaxial fiberglass interwoven with carbon boosters — delivering a featherlight, precise layup with explosive pop. Backed by Magic Bean bio-resin and a Quantum Drive base, this is the resort-dominating twin for the wide-footed rippers who refuse to compromise.

D.O.A Wide Snowboard 2027 FAQ

What skill level is this board built for?

The D.O.A. Wide is engineered for intermediate to advanced riders. The hybrid camber profile — combining traditional camber in the midsection with a slightly raised nose and tail — gives you precision edge control on groomers while the flat zones let you lock in tricks and float through powder. This means you need solid board control to work the camber, but the poppy lightweight core rewards good technique with snappy pop and response.

Why does this board justify its price point?

It starts with an extremely lightweight wood core that doesn't sacrifice durability. Layer that with fiberglass interwoven with carbon strips for weight reduction and precision during construction. The resin system uses 60% plant-based content — a bio-engineered compound that keeps the board poppy and durable while letting engineers use a thinner core. On the D.O.A. Wide, this adds up to a featherweight platform that still has enough snap and structure to hold together through seasons of abuse.

Where does this board shine?

The D.O.A. Wide dominates on groomed runs and mixed terrain. It's true twin with a hybrid camber profile designed for both carving and jibbing, so you get 5-out-of-5 ratings on groomers and terrain versatility. On the D.O.A. Wide, the flat kick zones in the nose and tail mean you can press tricks, the wider waist clears boot overhang for larger feet, and the raised tip and tail float you through powder without constant adjustment.

How do I know if I'm picking the right size?

Match your weight and riding style to the suggested range. The 155W, for example, is built for 130–190 lbs (59–86 kg) with a 22-inch stance reference. On the D.O.A. Wide, the wider waist (25.8 cm on the 155W) gives you extra boot clearance, so if you wear larger sizes, you step up one size where a standard D.O.A. would hit overhang. Heavier riders benefit from longer boards for edge hold and float.

Is this a versatile all-rounder or a specialist board?

It's built as an all-mountain workhorse. True twin shape, hybrid camber for multiple snow conditions, and radar scores of 5/5 on groomers and 5/5 on terrain versatility tell you it handles everything from hardpack to fresh snow to park hits. On the D.O.A. Wide, powder rating of 2/5 means it's not a dedicated powder slayer, but the flat kick and raised profile still float you adequately on a good day — this is a compromise that keeps the board agile and responsive everywhere else.
