Product Description

Built around Arthur Longo's obsession with resort lines and side hits, the Aeronaut Wide takes a directional, cambered platform into every corner of the mountain. A Panda Hover Core™ keeps the swing weight low while CarbonFlax™ amplifiers load and release with snappy, reactive energy through the turn. Wide sizing opens the board to bigger feet without compromise. For the expert all-mountain rider who treats every natural feature as a launch pad.

Aeronaut Wide Snowboard 2027 FAQ

Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?

The Aeronaut Wide is built for intermediate to advanced riders tackling all-mountain resort terrain and sidecountry hits. It features a directional shape with moderate setback to drive the nose and a cambered profile that needs edge control and commitment. The flex is mid-range, responsive without being overly demanding, so experienced riders can unlock its speed and precision while staying in control.

Do I need a wide board?

The Wide model has a waist width of 26.0 to 26.9 mm across sizes, versus 24.7 to 25.9 mm on standard. If you wear size 10.5 or larger, the extra width prevents boot overhang and drag in hard carves. On the Aeronaut Wide, that means you can hold an edge without scraping your heels or toes, giving you more confidence and less fatigue in a full day of varied terrain.

Should I get a twin or a directional board?

The Aeronaut is a directional board with 0.8 inches of setback. That means the binding line is moved forward, centering your weight over the nose. On the Aeronaut Wide, that gives you a longer effective nose to float in fresh snow and punch through variable terrain, while the tapered tail keeps you nimble and planted for control. Directional excels when you ride mostly downhill; twins are better if you want to switch or play park constantly.

Is this board good for powder?

Yes. The directional shape with setback and the mid-flex profile are tuned for powder and all-mountain charge. The nose is wider and pushed forward, so it floats on top of fresh snow without digging in, keeping you planted on the back foot with less leg burn. Combined with the cambered profile for edge engagement in variable snow, the Aeronaut Wide handles deep days and sidecountry laps smoothly.

What do carbon and natural fiber additives do for the ride?

The Aeronaut Wide integrates three carbon and flax composite layers under your feet, blending responsive carbon energy with the damping qualities of lightweight natural fiber. This hybrid construction gives you snappy pop and rebound without the harshness or extra weight of pure carbon, so you land jumps and butters smoothly while still feeling lively and connected to the snow.
