Are they supposed to feel this tight, or did I get the wrong size?
The Factory's Forma Pro Liner with TrueFoam™ technology is designed to mold directly to your foot out of the box. It'll feel snug initially, but that's intentional. The memory foam settles into your foot's shape within the first few rides, delivering custom comfort without any painful break-in. You're not cramped, you're being fitted by the boot.
What's my size in this brand if the listing only shows US/EU?
The Factory is sized US Men's 6–12.5, which maps to EU 38–45.5 and mondopoint 240–305 mm. Use your mondopoint (foot length in cm) for the most accurate fit: stand on a flat surface, measure from heel to longest toe, then match that number. Half-sizes are available across the range.
These are traditional laces — can I adjust them easily once I're riding?
Yes. Traditional laces give you complete control over tension from toe to cuff, letting you dial in a custom fit zone by zone. The Factory also includes a Lace Lock that locks everything in once dialed, so you're not fussing mid-run. Plus there's a removable Power Strap for extra heel security and energy transfer when you want it.
Will my feet stay warm in cold weather?
The Factory comes wrapped in PrimaLoft® Gold insulation paired with a heat-reflective foil lining. That combination keeps warmth locked in without adding bulk, so you stay comfortable on full-day marathons in bitter cold. Combined with the mesh liner that wicks away excess moisture, your feet stay warm and dry.
I'm progressing past beginner — will I outgrow a soft boot too fast?
The Factory sits in the all-mountain sweet spot: freestyle 8/10 and all-mountain 8/10 performance ratings. It's designed as a timeless workhorse, not a beginner-only boot.
