Product Details

Baseplates CNC-machined aluminum with cutout patterning for maximum weight savings, lighter than the Surge ST solid baseplate
Highbacks Arc ST Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks: molded with a moderate glass fiber fill for medium, surfy response. Asymmetrical left/right design aligns with each foot's natural stance. Stiff toe-to-heel, torsionally flexible for riding mobility. Lateral slots for BD Touring Strap
Straps Arc ST Pillow Line Straps: one-piece molded ankle straps with a reduced footprint and flex window for maximum agility. Durable, waterproof, will not freeze
Ladders and Adjusters Produced in-house with a proprietary thermoplastic blend that maintains flex performance across a wide temperature range
ST Tech Components Snap Ramps, ST Brackets, ST Whammy Bars: custom thermoplastic blend overmolded onto underlying metal parts for an extremely slippery, durable and abrasion-resistant surface. Bindings slide into offset touring brackets and lock with snap ramps: flip ramp down to ride, flip up to remove
Forward Lean Tool-free micro-adjustable 0° to 22° forward lean; flips to -13° touring position
Touring System Tesla T1 Tech: integrated ST Whammy Bar side arm levers allow easy switching between stowed, low (12°) and high (18°) heel lift using poles

Arc St Snowboard Bindings - Black 2027 FAQ

Are the Arc ST bindings compatible with my splitboard setup?

Yes. The Arc ST runs on the Tesla T1 Tech system and is compatible with all puck-compatible splitboard bindings. They work with Spark R&D's ST pucks (Flat or Canted) and mount on any board built for the puck interface.

What kind of rider and terrain are these designed for?

The Arc ST is built for backcountry splitboard touring: trees, powder, complex conditions, and long expeditions. With medium flex straps and highbacks, they're best suited to all-mountain touring riders who want responsive feel without going full stiff.

How do the highbacks flip for touring mode?

The Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks flip tool-free between ride and tour mode. In ride mode, forward lean is micro-adjustable from 0° to 22°. Flip them and they drop to -13° for skinning, giving your ankles full range of motion on the climb.

How does the heel lift system work on the skin track?

The Tesla T1 Tech system integrates ST Whammy Bar side arm levers, which you operate with a pole tip. You switch between stowed, low (12°), and high (18°) heel lifters without removing your gloves or stopping. It's designed for efficient transitions on steep climbs.

How do the straps hold up in cold and wet conditions?

The Pillow Line ankle straps are one-piece molded construction: durable, waterproof, and will not freeze. The ladders and adjusters are made in-house from a custom thermoplastic blend formulated to maintain flex across a wide temperature range, including deep cold.

How much does the Arc ST weigh, and why does that matter for touring?

The Arc ST weighs 628g per binding (1,256g per pair) in Medium. For splitboard touring, binding weight adds up on every uphill step. The CNC machined baseplate uses cutouts specifically to reduce weight without sacrificing the rigidity you need on the descent.

Can I add a BD Touring Strap to these bindings?

Yes. The Arc ST highbacks have lateral slots specifically designed to accept a Black Diamond Touring Strap, so you can add extra security on steep or technical skin tracks without any modification.
