Slider Ski Poles - Black FAQ
How much length can I actually adjust on the Slider?
The Slider offers over 25cm of adjustability, ranging from 41 to 51 inches. That covers most adult heights and makes it easy to set the right length for groomers or shorten up for backcountry touring, all without carrying two pairs of poles.
I always forget my screwdriver for binding adjustments — does the Slider help with that?
Yes. The Slider has a pozi-drive hidden inside the pole itself. You can make quick binding adjustments on the hill without digging through a pack or heading back to the lodge. It's discreet and always with you.
What's the grip like — is it comfortable for a full day?
The Slider uses an EVA anatomical grip, shaped to fit the natural contour of your hand. EVA foam absorbs vibration and stays comfortable through cold conditions. It's a more ergonomic option than a hard plastic grip, built for full-day resort or backcountry use.
What are these poles made of, and will they handle backcountry use?
The shaft is 7075 aluminum, a high-strength alloy suited to demanding conditions. The Slider ships with a 95mm Screwoff basket, appropriate for variable snow in the backcountry. The adjustable length, durable shaft, and hidden pozi-drive make it a solid pick from resort days to longer tours.
What's the difference between the Slider and the Paintbrush?
Both are 7075 aluminum and adjustable, but they differ in grip and basket setup. The Slider uses an EVA anatomical grip (more ergonomic) and comes with one 95mm basket. The Paintbrush uses a 25mm BMX grip with Grab Tab and ships with both a 60mm and a 95mm basket. The Paintbrush also has a slightly wider adjustment range (40–52 in vs. 41–51 in).
