S/Pro Supra S Boa 120 Ski Boots 2027 FAQ
What is ExoWrap and why does it matter for fit?
ExoWrap is a shell construction on the S/Pro Supra S BOA 120 that uses thinner plastic with the 2nd buckle repositioned at 45 degrees. This geometry creates stronger heel lock and more consistent foothold without adding unwanted pressure across the instep. In practice, your heel stays locked in place rather than lifting during hard turns.
What does the BOA dial do on this boot, and where is it positioned?
On the S/Pro Supra S BOA 120, the BOA Fit System is shell-mounted (that's what the S in S BOA means) on the lower shell. It works with 2 aluminum buckles to give you micro-adjustable, even tension across the foot. You can tighten or release it mid-run without removing your gloves.
What flex is 120 — is it right for me if I ski hard but not race level?
A flex of 120 is firm and suits aggressive intermediate to advanced skiers. On the S/Pro Supra S BOA 120, that stiffness is paired with the ExoWrap shell and BOA precision, so it rewards skiers who push the boot hard through turns. If you ski at moderate pace or are still building technique, a 100 flex will be more forgiving.
Will these work with my current bindings?
The S/Pro Supra S BOA 120 ships with GripWalk soles premounted (ISO 23223 norm), compatible with GripWalk-certified bindings and standard alpine bindings (ISO 5355). If your bindings are older alpine-only models without GripWalk certification, verify compatibility with a shop tech before mounting.
I have a medium-width foot — will the 100mm last work for me or feel tight?
A 100mm last is the medium-wide standard in Salomon's S/PRO lineup and fits most average-width foot shapes well. If you have a notably narrow low-volume foot, a 98mm shell (Alpha) might feel more precise. If you run wide, the Delta at 102mm is the better choice.
How heavy is this boot?
One boot weighs 1870 g at reference size, making the S/Pro Supra S BOA 120 the lightest of the four S/PRO boots in this lineup. That's due in part to the ExoWrap shell design using thinner plastic strategically rather than across the whole shell.
