My boots have GripWalk soles — will these bindings work with them?
Yes. The Strive 10 GW is specifically GripWalk-certified (ISO 23223) as well as standard alpine (ISO 5355), so it works safely with GripWalk-soled boots. The adjustable AFD accommodates the different sole rocker geometry of GripWalk boots, which older alpine-only bindings can't do reliably.
Is a DIN range of 3-10 right for me — am I at the edge of what this binding can handle?
A 3-10 DIN range is designed for beginner to lower-intermediate skiers or lighter riders. If your calculated DIN value (based on height, weight, age, and ability) lands between 4 and 8, you're comfortably within the usable window. If you're a heavier or more aggressive skier whose DIN is at or above 10, the Strive 12 GW or 14 GW would give you more room in the range.
