Strive 16 Mn 957 Ski Bindings 2027 FAQ
What's the difference between the Strive 16 MN 957 and the standard Strive 16 MN?
Technically, nothing: the Strive 16 MN 957 shares identical specs with the standard Strive 16 MN, including the 7-16 DIN range, 19.6mm stack, 1125 g half-pair weight, and Multinorm certification. The 957 is a special-edition colorway (Black/White/Sachet Pink), not a different binding technically.
What boots are compatible with the Strive 16 MN 957?
The Strive 16 MN 957 is Multinorm (MN) certified, accepting alpine (ISO 5355), GripWalk (ISO 23223), and touring (ISO 9523) boot soles. It works with virtually all modern ski boots regardless of sole type.
Is a DIN range of 7-16 right for me — can a mid-level skier use it?
The Strive 16 MN 957 starts at DIN 7, a workable floor for intermediate to advanced skiers. The top of 16 is for heavy or very aggressive riders. If your personal DIN calculation falls between 8 and 13, you're well within the range and won't be at either extreme.
Will the brakes fit my skis?
The Strive 16 MN 957 is available with brakes in C90, C100, and C115. Note that the C130 option is not available for this colorway (it's offered only on the standard Black/Silver Strive 16 MN). If you need brakes wider than 115mm for very wide freeride skis, the standard colorway is the right choice.
Does the special-edition status affect performance or warranty?
No. The 957 edition is a colorway designation only. The Strive 16 MN 957 carries the same TÜV certification and Multinorm approval as the standard model, and there are no technical or structural differences between them.
