I wear prescription glasses. Will they fit comfortably inside the D1 OTG 2?
Yes. The D1 OTG 2 is built specifically for glasses wearers: temple arms slide into cut-outs in the triple layer face foam, so the frame never presses on your glasses arms. Dragon confirms no sacrifice to comfort, goggle fit, or peripheral vision. The large-fit frame provides extra interior room for a full-size pair of frames.
How does the anti-fog hold up on hard days when I'm sweating a lot?
The cylindrical lens is thermally formed with two panes, creating an insulating air gap that resists condensation. A Super Anti-Fog Coating on the inner lens adds a second layer of protection. Oleophobic and Hydrophobic coatings on the outer surface repel oil and water. Dragon rates this combination as Super Anti-Fog performance, designed for all-day riding.
A bonus lens is included. What does that mean in practice?
Every D1 OTG 2 ships with a second Lumalens® Color Optimized lens in a different tint. The pairing depends on the colorway: Raw comes with Dark Smoke plus Amber, Icon Green with Green Ion plus Flash Blue Ion, and Steel Blue with Silver Ion plus Clear. Two light conditions are covered right out of the box, no extra purchase needed.
There are so many lens tints. How do I pick the right one for my riding?
VLT (Visible Light Transmission) is the key number: higher means more light passes through, better for flat or low-light days. Clear (83%) suits night and heavy overcast. Amber and Pink Ion (54%) cover variable conditions. Silver, Green, and Blue Ion (23%) and Gold Ion (13%) work for bright sun. Midnight and Red Ion (6%) are maximum sun tints. The included bonus lens covers a second condition automatically.
The D1 OTG 2 is listed as large fit. Is it going to be too big for my face?
The D1 OTG 2 is built for a large face profile. If standard large-fit goggles have felt too wide or loose for you, Dragon's Alternative Fit (AF) variant of the D1 OTG offers a different frame geometry suited to other face shapes. The AF variant is available as a separate option, so you can choose the fit that matches your face before buying.
Why does the D1 OTG 2 cost $155? What am I getting over a basic goggle?
Three things stand out: Lumalens® Color Optimized Technology for enhanced contrast in variable light, a full coating stack (Super Anti-Fog, Oleophobic, Hydrophobic, Hard Coat scratch resistance), and an OTG foam system that fits over glasses without compromising fit or peripheral vision.
