Helm Gore-Tex Glove - Black FAQ
What's the difference between the Helm GORE-TEX Glove and HOWL's bulkier GORE-TEX mitts?
The Helm GORE-TEX Glove is a slimmed-down, tapered version of HOWL's GORE-TEX Mitt OC, with a close-to-wrist undercuff construction instead of a bulkier overcuff. It trades a bit of raw warmth bulk for a cleaner, more articulated fit while keeping the same Warmth Rating of 4.
How does this glove stay waterproof through a full day of riding?
The shell is Perforated Nylon with a Silver Membrane, backed by a GORE-TEX insert plus DWR treatment and finished with Hapalon taping at the seams. GORE-TEX is HOWL's partnered waterproofing tech, built to stay durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable across long days.
Will these gloves stay on my hands during a fall?
Yes. The Helm GORE-TEX Glove uses a Velcro strap closure at the wrist plus an elasticized wrist opening, and it includes a removable premium leash so you're not searching the snow for a glove that comes off during a fall or a lift ride.
