The Heli 2.0 Pro S 26L uses a small-specific fit built for shorter torsos, not just a color relabel of the standard men's version. It keeps the same 26L capacity and feature set (RECCO, dual snowboard/ski carry, helmet carry) but with strap and back panel geometry proportioned for a smaller frame.
Will this pack still carry my snowboard and skis at this smaller fit?
Yes. It has vertical snowboard deployable carry with a horizontal option, plus diagonal or A-frame ski/splitboard deployable carry, the same carry systems as the standard Heli 2.0 Pro 26L. The small-torso fit changes the back panel and strap length, not the carry capability.
Does this pack have avalanche rescue tech?
Yes, RECCO technology is built in, letting professional rescuers using RECCO detectors locate you faster in an avalanche or if lost in the backcountry. It pairs with a dedicated snow tools/shovel pocket with sleeves so your shovel and probe are quick to reach.
Is it comfortable to wear for a full day of touring?
The pack pairs a breathable mesh padded back panel and ergonomic padded shoulder straps with load lifters with a 25 mm ergonomic padded hip belt. On the shorter-torso build, those load lifters help keep weight close to your back on climbs without the straps digging in.
Can I carry a helmet separately without it taking up main pack space?
Yes, there's a removable helmet carry with its own stash pocket located on the lumbar panel, independent of the main compartment used for skis, splitboard, and tools. You can remove the helmet net entirely on days you don't need it.
