Product Description
The Mini Disk is Union's compact mounting solution for riders who refuse to sacrifice feel underfoot. Its reduced baseplate footprint lets your board breathe and flex naturally, while a mid-stiff character keeps your response precise and connected. Compatible with 4x2 and Channel systems, it's the go-to disk across Union's most performance-driven freestyle and all-mountain bindings. Built for riders who want the board, not the hardware, to do the talking.

Mini Disk - Black FAQ
Will this disk work with my board's mounting system?
The Mini Disk is compatible with 4x2 and Channel insert patterns, which covers the vast majority of snowboards on the market today, including Burton Channel boards. If your board uses either of those systems, you're good to go. Check your board's insert pattern before ordering if you're unsure.
What's the difference between the Threaded Insert and Non-Threaded Insert versions?
The Threaded Insert version comes with hardware pre-threaded into the disk, while the Non-Threaded version requires standard binding screws. The right choice depends on your current binding hardware. If you're replacing a disk on an existing setup, match the version to what you already have to avoid compatibility issues.
Why use a mini disk instead of a full-size disk?
A smaller footprint means the disk covers fewer inserts, leaving more of the board free to flex between your feet. On the Mini Disk, that translates to a more natural, lively board feel underfoot. It's the reason Union specs it on their most performance-oriented freestyle and freeride bindings: you get the security of a solid mount without killing the board's flex.
What's the Mini Disk made of, and will it hold up in cold weather?
The Mini Disk is made from Duraflex Nylon, a formulation exclusive to Union for snow hardgoods. It's engineered to stay consistent across a wide range of cold temperatures, so it won't get brittle or lose its ride feel on cold days. It's the same material used across Union's full lineup of performance bindings.
Which Union bindings does this disk come with?
The Mini Disk (Disk #03) is the standard disk on most of Union's performance lineup, including the Falcor, Neo, Ultra, Strata, Legacy, Contact, Flite Pro, Rosa, and Ranger kids' binding, among others. If you're replacing a disk on one of those bindings, the Mini Disk is the correct replacement part.
