Will this bag actually fit my snowboard, what's the max board length?
The Wheeled Travel Snowboard Bag is sized for boards up to 165 cm. That single size covers the vast majority of adult boards. If your board is significantly longer than 165 cm, this bag isn't the right fit. For everything at or under that length, you get a full 110 L of volume (165 x 33 x 20 cm) with room for bindings still mounted.
How well does this bag protect my board during a flight or road trip?
The Wheeled Travel Snowboard Bag uses full-circle 3D padded protection, meaning padding wraps all the way around the board rather than just front and back. Inside, a dedicated divider with straps holds the board in place so it can't shift during handling. The result is a setup designed for checked-luggage conditions, not just car trips.
Are the zippers solid? I've had bag zippers fail on trips before.
The bag uses YKK #10 zippers throughout. The #10 designation refers to the zipper's coil size, making it one of the heavier-duty options used in travel and gear bags. It's a meaningful spec to look for when comparing bags, and Union used it on every zipper here.
