Bliss - Women Snowboard 2027 FAQ

Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?

The Bliss is designed for women who are exploring the mountain across all terrain types. It has a soft-to-medium flex that forgives rough edges, combined with a tapered directional shape that rewards progressive riding. On the Bliss, that mix means you can cruise groomers with confidence, dip into side-country, and build skills without fighting the board. It's perfect for intermediate riders or solid beginners ready to leave the bunny hill.

Do I need a wide board?

The Bliss comes in Regular width, which fits women's shoe sizes up to about UK 8–9. It's cut with a tapered nose that's wider than the tail to help you float. On the Bliss, that regular width means zero toe or heel drag in hard carves, even at lean angles, because the nose opens up to catch floatation without the weight and response penalty of a full wide.

How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?

The Bliss runs soft to medium (closer to soft), built on a light aspen core with dual-density inserts reinforcing underfoot. That softer flex makes the board play at low speeds and forgive sloppy weight shifts. On the Bliss, you can muscle it around tight turns or flat terrain without exhausting yourself, while still getting enough response to handle choppy snow and moderate speeds without washing out.

Is this board good for powder?

The Bliss has a tapered directional shape with a 20mm setback, plus a freeride-inspired profile. That geometry lifts the nose earlier than the tail, helping you stay on top of fresh snow rather than nosing in. On the Bliss, you float in shallow powder with less leg fatigue and stay planted on the back foot, so even a few inches of fresh snow feels playable and fun without arm-burning pike position work.

What do the fiberglass layers actually change?

The Bliss uses biaxial fiberglass, which flexes along two diagonals rather than locking torsion tight. That construction gives the board some twist and forgiveness in the flex. On the Bliss, that means you get a slightly playful ride through choppy terrain, a little give when you mis-edge, and a smooth glide across mixed conditions without the stiff, locked-in feel of a rigid setup.
