Flagship Pro Snowboard 2027 FAQ
Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?
This is built for expert freeriders who want to crush steep terrain at top speed. The all-conditions freeride setup combines a stiff profile and powerful construction, meaning you need strong fundamentals and control. On the Flagship Pro, that stiffness demands precision but rewards commitment with unmatched stability in extreme conditions and high-speed carves.
Is this board good for powder?
Yes. It has rocker at the nose and tail to keep you afloat, a tapered shape that lifts the front, and extra inserts for deep setback stance. On the Flagship Pro, that combination lets you ride as far back as you want in deep snow, staying high and light without constantly adjusting your weight forward.
How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?
This board is stiff and powerful. A stiff board holds its edge through chop and wind, responds instantly to pressure, and tracks dead straight at speed. On the Flagship Pro, that max stiffness is unforgiving if you're hesitant or off-balance, but it converts every edge angle into precise carving and never washes out, even when you open it up on hardpack.
What's the difference between camber and rocker?
Camber under your feet gives you pop and edge hold for carving. Rocker at the tip and tail helps you float and forgives small missteps. On the Flagship Pro, the directional camber-rocker blend keeps the nose playful in powder while the stiffer middle section locks in for aggressive carved turns, so you get float without sacrificing grip.
What makes a base fast, and how does this one perform?
This base is sintered, meaning it's porous and thirsty for wax, which makes it faster than extruded and more durable under hard riding. The carbon additives boost speed further. On the Flagship Pro, you're looking at unrivaled glide on all snow conditions, especially cold and icy terrain, with excellent edge retention and base life even through rocky or abrasive conditions.
