Flagship Junior Snowboard 2027 FAQ
Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?
The Flagship Junior is built for youth and small adults stepping up to advanced terrain. It works across all conditions—groomers, pow, freeride, slush. You should be riding intermediate to advanced, comfortable carving hard and exploring steeper lines.
What's the difference between camber and rocker?
This board uses both. Camber runs under your feet for edge grip and responsiveness. Rocker lifts at the nose and tail to float in powder and forgive mistakes. Combined, you get energy underfoot with playfulness at the ends, so you're stable in firm snow and relaxed in deep stuff.
How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?
At a 4/5 mid-stiff flex, this board is lively without being a plank. Stiff enough to hold an edge and track at speed, but still responsive enough to rail tight turns. You won't have to muscle it, and it rewards aggressive riding with snappy feedback.
What makes a base fast—extruded vs. sintered?
This board rides a sintered base, which is porous and drinks wax deep. It's faster than extruded bases off the box and stays quick longer after fresh wax. Trade-off: it needs regular maintenance, but for freeride days, the speed is worth the care.
What do the fiberglass layers actually change?
Biaxial fiberglass runs lengthwise and crosswise, giving mid-soft torsional flex. That means the board twists easily underfoot without losing edge hold. You get forgiving float in soft snow and snappy response in carves, balancing playfulness with control.
