Flagship Womens Snowboard 2027 FAQ
Who is this board for, and what level do I need to be?
The Flagship is built for advanced to expert riders pursuing confident freeride. On the Flagship, this means you're comfortable linking technical terrain, managing variable snow, and holding aggressive lines. It rewards precise technique and won't hold your hand on mistakes, but excels when you trust it.
What's the difference between All-Mountain, Freestyle, and Freeride?
All-Mountain suits resort cruising and mixed terrain. Freestyle shines in park and rails. The Flagship is pure freeride: built to handle backcountry chutes, sidehill slashes, and variable snow. Its design prioritizes power and stability over tricks, scoring 10/10 in powder but just 3/10 in park.
What's the difference between camber and rocker?
Camber under your feet locks you in with snap and edge hold. Rocker at the nose and tail lifts those sections to float and forgive. The Flagship combines both: camber underfoot for carving precision, rocker nose and tail for powder float. You get grip where you need control and forgiveness in deep snow.
How stiff should my board be, and what does flex actually change on snow?
The Flagship is mid-stiff to firm (4/5 flex). That stiffness means you can push speed without the board washing out or chattering through chop. It demands weight commitment but gives you direct edge response and holds aggressive carves on hardpack. Perfect for confident, fast freeriding.
Is this board good for powder?
It's rated 10/10 in powder. The nose is wider and lifted (rocker), the medium-tapered shape sets you slightly back, and extra inserts let you move into a deeper stance. On the Flagship, all of this combines to keep your nose floating while your back foot stays planted, eating up deep days with minimal leg burn.
