Nebula Fase Snowboard Bindings - Icy Blue 2027 FAQ
What's the difference between strap, step-in, and rear-entry bindings?
The Nebula FASE uses a hybrid approach: traditional two-strap security with an ultra-fast entry system. The AutoBack closes hands-free as your boot enters, the FastStrap keeps you connected for one-handed tightening, and the auto-lock toe strap stays set. On the Nebula FASE, you get on the hill faster than step-in systems while keeping the locked-in, adjustable feel of classic straps.
What does binding flex change on snow?
The Nebula FASE has a friendly, playful flex of 2/5 — built around a mid-soft highback and impact-absorbing footbed. On the Nebula FASE, this forgiving flex excels in park and freestyle terrain (9/10), but scales all the way up to freeride (10/10) because the Asym Spine delivers power when you need it. You get responsiveness without punishment.
What is the highback for?
The highback transfers calf pressure into heel-edge turns. On the Nebula FASE, the AsymFlite Highback is mid-soft: the Asym Spine provides support and power, while the softer internal side gives you freedom to slash and tweak. The result: direct heel response when you commit, playful flex when you're pressing tricks.
How do I pick the right binding size?
Bindings come in S/M/L, not shoe sizes. On the Nebula FASE, Size M fits US 7.5–10 boots (EU 40–43). Always cross-check your boot size against the chart, because a size 10 in one brand might need a Large here. Overhang of 0.5–0.75 inches is normal; more than that causes toe and heel drag.
What does the baseplate material change?
The Nebula FASE baseplate is glass-nylon composite with a plush PU foam D-Fuse Pad underneath. On the Nebula FASE, this combination delivers quick response for precise board control plus natural flex and vibration damping. You feel connected to the board without harsh impact shock, which matters on long days in variable snow.
