Is the Astra Step On the first women's Step On binding?
Yes. The Astra Step On is the first women's-specific Step On all-mountain binding, combining Step On convenience with women's performance. S1 Step On W Duraflex ST baseplate and Hi-Flex HP EVA deliver 9/10 all-mountain response.
How adjustable is the Astra Step On?
Very. It has an adjustable gas pedal (fore-aft toe piece) and Integrated 2-Stage forward lean adjustment. Dial in your preferred setup for custom fit and stance angle, tool-free.
Is the Astra heavier than traditional bindings because of the lock mechanism?
No. At 1.60 kg (pair), it's competitive with traditional all-mountain bindings. The Step On mechanism is integrated into the heel, not an extra weight penalty.
