Yes. At 1.70 kg (pair), it's the same weight as traditional all-mountain bindings. The Step On mechanism is integrated into the heel design, not an extra component adding weight.
Will Step On boots work with other bindings?
Only with other Step On bindings. Step On is Burton's proprietary system. If you have Step On boots, you need Step On bindings. Regular boots won't fit Step On bindings and vice versa.
