What does the 3° canting actually do for my riding?
The 3° canted platform tilts your binding slightly inward, which puts your knees in a more natural aligned position. Over a long skin track or a full day of riding, that reduces fatigue and strain on your knees compared to a flat (0°) puck setup.
Will these pucks work with my splitboard and bindings?
The Canted Pucks work with all puck-compatible splitboard bindings and are compatible with both 4x2 insert boards and channel boards. Same compatibility as the Flat Pucks, just with 3° of built-in canting.
How much stance adjustment do I get with these?
The same near-infinite range as the Flat Pucks: +/- 1/4" toe/heel centering in 1.3 mm increments, +/- 30° angular adjustment in 3° increments, and stance width in 4.2 mm steps. The canting doesn't limit your adjustment range at all.
How fast does the transition work between tour and ride?
Bindings slide on a soft nylon surface for effortless movement. Snap Ramps flip down to lock the binding in ride position and flip up to remove it, no tools required. Same smooth ST Tech system as all Spark pucks.
Are the Canted Pucks noticeably heavier than the flat version?
Slightly. The Canted Pucks weigh 322g per pair vs 289g for the Flat Pucks, a difference of about 33g. For most riders, that's a negligible weight penalty for the knee comfort benefit over a long touring day.
Flat or canted: which should I choose?
If your knees feel fine and you prefer a neutral platform, go flat. If you have any knee sensitivity, or you log long days on the skin track, the Canted Pucks' 3° tilt is specifically designed to reduce that strain. Both share the same adjustment range and compatibility.
