Product Details
| Toe Piece | Triple Pivot Elite X: one-piece housing that is stronger and more compact than its predecessor, with a toe stand height of only 9 mm. Newly developed Anti Ice Rail provides lateral power transmission. High-tech plastics reduce weight and increase vibrance for Freeride and Freestyle performance in all conditions. |
| Heel Piece | Inter Pivot X: ultra-compact metal frame enabling particularly tight turn radii, especially on-piste and in hard terrain. Delivers first-class power transmission and energy absorption across all snow conditions. |
| Integrated Brake | X-Brake: completely redesigned brake fully integrated into the heel plate, enabling a stand height of only 14 mm for a more direct feel and improved power transmission. Available in widths of 90 mm, 105 mm, and 120 mm. |

Griffon X 13 Ski Bindings - Graphite/Light Blue 2027 FAQ
What's the point of a 14 mm stand height, and will I actually feel a difference?
Yes, significantly. At 14 mm, the Griffon X 13 has the lowest stand height Marker has ever built into a freeski binding. The X-Brake is fully integrated into the heel plate to achieve this, which puts your boot closer to the ski for faster, more direct edge engagement and a smoother feel underfoot on freeride terrain and in the park.
Will the Griffon X 13 work with my GripWalk boots?
Yes. The Griffon X 13 is compatible with both standard Alpine (ISO 5355 A) and GripWalk (GW A) adult boot soles. Note that it does not support touring (ISO 9523) soles. If you need touring compatibility, look at the Griffon 13 Mn instead.
Is DIN 4.0 to 13.0 the right range if I ski hard but am not a pro?
For skiers up to 120 kg who push hard on any terrain, that range is a strong fit. The 13.0 ceiling lets advanced riders dial in an accurate DIN without crowding the top of the range. The Triple Pivot Elite X toe uses high-tech plastics to reduce weight while delivering reliable retention in freeride and freestyle conditions.
How does ice buildup in the toe get handled on cold days?
The Triple Pivot Elite X toe includes a newly developed Anti Ice Rail with lateral power transmission. The metal rail scrapes ice and snow off the boot sole on entry, and the moveable stainless steel AFD underneath stays clear of debris. Together they keep release values consistent whether you're stepping in at the top of an icy run or after a chairlift ride in a snowstorm.
What brake widths are available for the Griffon X 13?
The Griffon X 13 is available with 90, 105, and 120 mm integrated brakes. The X-Brake is fully built into the heel plate, which is what enables the 14 mm stand height. Choose your brake width based on your ski's waist measurement: the brake should be equal to or slightly wider than the waist.
Is this binding better for the park or for freeride terrain, or can it do both?
Both. Marker explicitly positions the Griffon X 13 for park, pipe, and off-piste use. The ultra-compact Inter Pivot X heel enables tight turn radii for carving on-piste; the 14 mm stack suits jumps and rails in the park; and the DIN 4.0 to 13.0 range provides solid retention in freeride terrain. It's an all-mountain freestyle-freeride binding.
