Heli 2.0 Pro 26L Backpack - Rosewood FAQ
Can I access the main compartment without unpacking from the top?
Yes. The Heli 2.0 Pro 26L opens from both the back panel and a side panel, so you can grab gear from either direction without digging from the top down. That's on top of the standard main compartment, which also holds snow tools and a splitboard or skis.
Does this pack help distribute weight comfortably on longer days?
It uses a breathable mesh padded back panel with ergonomic padded shoulder straps that include load lifters, plus a 25 mm ergonomic padded hip belt. Load lifters let you pull the pack's weight closer to your back on steep climbs, which matters more at 26L than on smaller packs.
Can this pack carry my snowboard, splitboard, or skis?
Yes, it offers vertical snowboard deployable carry with a horizontal option, plus diagonal or A-frame ski/splitboard deployable carry, so the same pack adapts to resort riding or backcountry touring. A removable helmet carry with a lumbar stash pocket handles your helmet separately.
Is there RECCO or other rescue-related tech in this pack?
Yes, RECCO technology is built in, a passive reflector that makes you searchable by professional rescuers using RECCO detectors in an avalanche or if lost outdoors. The removable sternum strap also has a built-in rescue whistle, and snow tool sleeves keep your shovel and probe within reach.
How rugged is the fabric for daily riding?
The 26L is built from 100% recycled 600D polyester diamond ripstop and 100% recycled 600D coated polyester, a heavy-denier combination chosen for abrasion resistance. That construction is meant to handle repeated chairlift rubbing, rock contact, and daily loading over a full season.
