Is this actually built for a women's fit, or just a colorway of the men's pack?
The Womens Mission Pro 25L uses a small-specific fit designed for shorter torsos, distinct from the mixed/men's Mission Pro Backpack 25L, not just a different color of the same shape. The back panel and strap geometry are proportioned differently while keeping the same 25L capacity.
Can I add a back protector to this pack?
Yes, it's DK Impact Spine Protector compatible (sold separately), so you can slot one in without switching to a different pack. That's on top of its snow tools/shovel pocket with sleeves for a shovel and probe.
Can this pack carry my snowboard or splitboard?
Yes, it has vertical snowboard carry and diagonal ski/splitboard carry, so it works for either riding style. A fleece-lined goggle pocket and a zippered side pocket give you fast access to goggles and small items without opening the main compartment.
Will my hydration bladder work in cold weather with this pack?
The main compartment is two-way radio handset or insulated hydration compatible, built to accept an insulated bladder sleeve that slows freezing in cold conditions. That's paired with a 25 mm padded hip belt with side pockets for stashing snacks or a phone.
